June 18- Cambridge Farm Life

My morning chores were done by 9 and included feeding 2 dogs, watering and feeding 21 chickens food and oyster shells! Other morning projects included relocating Dahlias and cannalilies. Playing with the dogs. Tomorrow I need to be better at collecting eggs before one of the dogs gets to them! Today dog 2, Karol 7! Working on scrubbies in between as Bekahs mother-in-law would like 4! I love making scrubbies! Today is cooler (72) and winds not as strong so outside chores this morning while Raylee napped.

This afternoon took Raylee for a walk down the gravel road. Threw garbage into the back of the pick up and drove it out to The Death Pit (pictured). A few inside chores as well as worked on updating my blog!

Anytime out in the yard I’ve been advised it is best to have eyes in the back of your head or Rukus the rooster may attack you from behind! So far I’ve been lucky!

Breakfast this morning was farm fresh two egg omelete with cheese! Supper is freezer meal of taco soup! Mmm good!

                                                                    Rukus the rooster!

Note eggshells on the ground next to Cinch (in the front), though he isn’t the culprit!
Culprit is Daley in the back!

The Death Pit (and garbage pit). Referred to The Death Pit in last year’s blog, just had never seen it! Big and very very deep!
