Today I got to join in on a surprise 40th birthday party for Thomas Rehm at a park in Omaha! Carol, Paul and I are headed in early to help set up, 90 minute drive so will leave the farm by 3. Park has splash pad, climbing toys, pickleballs, basketball hoop, and not sure what else. Should be fun! Will get to see all the families I have already visited. Great fun on a very hot and humid day!
As we drove into Omaha we saw lots of fields still flooded. Thankfully the interstate reopened this week. It’s like we are driving by “lakes”! Pretty stinky!
Enjoyed several conversations with Rehm extended family I hadn’t yet seen this trip and I got lots of “steps” in! Had fun hanging out with the “littles” and helping out some moms!
Tomorrow I head up to family in Albert City with a stop along the way to see Auntie Mavis in Sac City.
